Terms & Conditions - Training Courses

  1. About us.  Digital Advantage Academy is the training division of Digital Advantage Consulting Ltd (trading as Digital Advantage), a digital transformation and management consulting company.

  2. Definitions.

    “we/us/our” means Digital Advantage Consulting Ltd (trading as Digital Advantage).

    “you/your” means the trainee, also referred to as the participant or attendee.

    “course” means the training course/class/session/activity/workshop.

    “registration” means enrolment of an individual onto a course.

    “fee/fees" means the price of a course.

    “agenda” means indicative content of a course and is meant to be illustrative not definitive and subject to variation within the scope of a course overview and its learning objectives.

  3. Course Availability. Course registrations are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

  4. Course Fee.  The fee for a course will be published on our website.  We reserve the right to alter the fee.  Fee alteration will not apply retrospectively to previously confirmed registrations.

  5. Payment Terms. The full fee payment for a course is due at the time of registration to confirm enrolment.

  6. Registration Confirmation.  A confirmation email will be sent to you upon successful registration, including details for course access, dates, and times. Please ensure the contact information that you provide is accurate.  If you do not receive a registration confirmation within 24 hours, then it is your responsibility to follow this up with us.

  7. Cancellation and Refund Policy. Cancellation requests received more than 7 days before a course start date are eligible for a full refund.  Cancellation requests made within 7 days of a course start date will receive a 50% refund.  No refunds are available after a course start date.

  8. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Us.  We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or have the option to transfer your registration to another date.

  9. Intellectual Property.  All course materials, including slides, recordings, and handouts, are our intellectual property and are provided for personal non-commercial use only.  Unauthorised distribution or reproduction is prohibited.

  10. Code of Conduct.  You must maintain professionalism and respect for others in all interactions during a course. Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour may result in your removal from the course without a refund.

  11. Limitation of Liability.   We will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred while you attend in-person sessions or for any technical issues that you encountere during online sessions.  You are responsible for your own technical setup and equipment.

    We will not be liable to you or your employer for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise arising under or in connection with use of content covered in training courses.  We will not be liable for loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, business interruption,  or any other consequential loss or damage.

    We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by malware or cyberattacks on your system or equipment due to your use of our materials and content.  

  12. Changes to these terms.  We may revise these terms at any time by amending the information on this page.  Please check this page periodically for any changes we make as they are binding on you.

  13. Agreement to Terms.  By completing your registration for a course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
